Seven NFL teams this season will travel more miles than it takes to go around the world
According to Google, the distance around Earth at the equator is 24,901 miles. Those teams set to travel “around the world” and more this upcoming 2023 season are the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, LA Rams, LA Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, and Arizona Cardinals.
The Seahawks will lead the NFL with 31,600 miles of travel during the upcoming regular season.
It’s not hard to see why the Seahawks travel a ton every year. The Seahawks essentially have a corner of the United States entirely to themselves in the Pacific Northwest. The closest road game to them will take place in San Francisco, which is about 800 miles down south of them.
The Jacksonville Jaguars will travel across an ocean to an entirely different country twice this year and they still do not come close to the mileage of the Seahawks’ travel time.

The team heading overseas with the most miles will be the defending Super Bowl champions, Kansas City Chiefs. They will head to Frankfurt, Germany in Week 9 to take on the Miami Dolphins.
On the other hand, teams in the middle of the country won’t have to travel as far. When it comes to the team that has the least amount of miles, that would be the Cincinnati Bengals at 11,942 miles.
