Jalen Ramsey is now a member of the Miami Dolphins.
After the trade went down, Adam Schefter added in his report the Rams have agreed to trade CB Jalen Ramsey to the Dolphins in exchange for a 2023 third-round pick and TE Hunter Long.
Last offseason, the Dolphins swung for the fences when they acquired Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs. After losing to the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Wild Card Round, albeit without having Tua behind center, the front office is clearly looking to be aggressive once again.
The offense is pretty good right now, but the defense allowed the sixth-most passing yards last year. Adding Ramsey can turn that number upside down and shut down some of the best WRs in the league.
Ramsey hinted that 2022 may not see him in a Rams uniform again back in January:

As it turns out, he was correct. A new contract could be coming soon for Ramsey. He signed a five-year, $105 million extension before the start of the 2020 season.
He is due base salaries of $17 million and $14.5 million over the next two years.
