A former NFL revealed this week that cops were called on him for a ridiculous reason.
Former Super Bowl-winning WR Torrey Smith took to Twitter and stated a ref at a youth game called the cops on him after he simply voiced his frustrations at hm during a game.
“I have a new thing to add to reasons I’ve had the cops called on me. I told the ref at this rec league game that he would’ve realized it was an air ball and not a block if he actually moved past the opposite free throw line. He kicked me out and called the cops,” he tweeted.
Back in 2019, Smith hung up his cleats for good after a stellar career. He spent the bulk of his career with the Baltimore Ravens.
He was one of Joe Flacco’s primary targets when the Ravens won Super Bowl XLVII over the San Francisco 49ers. And he went on to win a second title, this one with the Philadelphia Eagles, in 2018.
