Who doesn’t enjoy themselves some Tony Romo commentary? Since joining CBS, he’s taken NFL broadcast booths by storm thanks to moments like these.
During the coin toss prior to overtime of today’s Thanksgiving Day game between the Raiders and Cowboys, the former Dallas quarterback sensed some indecision when the Raiders’ Foster Moreau chose heads. And like Romo often does when he senses something, he ran like hell with it:
Romo knew Moreau had made the wrong call as soon as he heard that questionable tone. And he was right!
Thankfully for the Raiders, their tight end’s indecisiveness wouldn’t cost them, as Vegas’ defense was able to force a three-and-out, before taking their first possession of the extra frame into field-goal range — where Daniel Carlson sealed the victory for the Silver & Black.
