Patrick Mahomes has developed a well-earned reputation for keeping it cool for the Kansas City Chiefs. That ended on Sunday during a high-stakes game against the Buffalo Bills.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs lost in stunning fashion to Josh Allen and the Bills, 20-17, thanks in large part to one crucial mistake by one of their wide receivers that negated what could have been a winning TD in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter.
Kadarius Toney had the most egregious mistake when he lined up offsides on the negated TD when Travis Kelce pulled off an insane play.
Tony Romo, who called the game for CBS, did not hold back on the Chiefs’ receivers:
After Mahomes threw an incomplete pass to turn the ball over on downs, Mahomes went back to the sidelines and appeared to try and attach an NFL official.
Kansas City lost the game, 20-17, and fell to 8-5 on the season.
