It’s been days but Chase Claypool continues to get blasted for his actions on the field in the Steelers’ 36–28 loss on Thursday night.
A video from social media has circulated over the last few days that contrasts how Claypool and former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald behaved in situations where situational awareness was crucial.
Claypool decided to celebrate in the waning seconds of the 4th quarter while Fitzgerald grabs the ball and ran it to the line for QB Kyler Murray to spike.
Hall of Fame head coach Tony Dungy saw the video and called Claypool out for it. He called it “The difference between “a true pro” and “learning to be a pro”!”
His stupid play took away from the fact that he had eight receptions for 93 yards in the game.
The Vikings scored 29 unanswered points to start the game, but the Steelers made a furious comeback that included a spectacular catch by Claypool, but all was forgotten becahse of his antics.
