Newly-crowned US Open Champion Coco Gauff was hanging out on the field with some big stars before Giants-Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.
Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy had something to say about the dynamic superstar, but it was in response to what ESPN had commented on her after her victory.
ESPN tweeted out a clip of Coco Gauff “taking a moment” to compose herself following her win at the U.S. Open on Saturday. However, it appeared she was actually praying.
Dungy made sure they knew that.
“I hate to break this to you SportsCenter but Coco Gauff was not “soaking it all in” at this moment. She was praying. She has been very open about her Christian faith in the past. It seems pretty obvious what she is doing here,” he wrote.

The Giants are hosting their NFC East rivals, the Cowboys, in the season’s first installment of Sunday Night Football.
The Cowboys lead the all-time series by a 73-47-2 mark, including the postseason, and Dallas won both meetings last season.
Dallas was 12-5 last year while the Giants were 9-7-1 as both teams won a Wild card game in the postseason. Both of their seasons would end in the next round.
With the Commanders and Eagles both winning, it is highly crucial both teams keep pace early with a victory tonight.
