The father of New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito seemed less than impressed with coach Brian Daboll’s playcalling during the blowout against the Dallas Cowboys.
Devito was under center for the Giants during Sunday’s trip to the Dallas Cowboys following injuries to both Daniel Jones and backup Tyrod Taylor.
An interception set New York up at the Dallas 12-yard line but the Giants would be facing a 4th-and 3 from the 4-yard line after an incomplete pass and two short runs.
Daboll decided to go for it, but the Giants were stuffed on a run.
The call was criticized by Tommy DeVito’s father who was shown after the play.
“That’s your 4th-and-3 play?”
