Tommy DeVito’s agent Sean Stellato has offered some insight following the New York Giants quarterback getting exposed for pricing out a local pizzeria.
The Morristown, New Jersey business was hoping to have DeVito appear in-store this week, having agreed to pay him $10,000 to meet guests and sign autographs. But that’s gone down the drain after the QB doubled the price on the back of his newfound fame.
According to the pizza shop, they had to cancel after the Giants beat the Packers last week and DeVito asked for $20,000, a fee they simply cannot afford.
Stellato, who has also found some popularity amid DeVito’s breakout, has responded to the claims this Monday, insisting that they never had a contract in place.
“It’s a shame that the restaurant promoted that they would have Tommy when we didn’t have a signed contract,” he was quoted as saying. “We didn’t raise the price because nothing was ever agreed to.”
Stellato has been compared to a TV mobster given his Italian heritage and the way he dresses. The statement is true to form.

The restaurant owner, Nino Coniglio, has revealed a text message from Stellato showing him agreeing to do the gig for $10K, though not officially.
“We agreed in principle to terms — 2 hours, 250 autographs and $10,000 and then the agent couldn’t be reached,” he claimed. “He reached back out after Monday’s game to tell us the price was now $20,000.”
Fans have been criticizing DeVito for trying to squeeze money out of a local family business, especially now that the Giants had their winning streak cut short after a loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Well, it was good while it lasted.
