After watching the Bills absolutely steamroll the Patriots on Sunday night, New England fans are waking up on Sunday morning in a very bad mood.
What they woke up to when they logged on social media was a reminder of what they once had and will likely never have again: Tom Brady. The hype video Tom Brady released ahead of the Eagles-Buccaneers wild-card game only will make the Foxboro Faithful feel even worse as he posted a single clip of his final game with the team, which was of him looking distraught in the 2019 wild card game against the Tennessee Titans. The Titans took down Brady and Co. at Gillette Stadium en route to the AFC Championship Game.
“You think we need another hype video? The hyenas one, remember that? That didn’t really work out,” Brady says in the video. “All right, look. It’s pretty simple: Nobody is satisfied here. This team, these coaches, this family we built — it only happens once. That’s what you play for. To keep that alive for one more game. All that matters is we got a football game this weekend. So, you ready, Tampa?”
Since that game, Brady took his talents to Tampa, won a Super Bowl and is getting ready to defend it when the team takes on the Philadelphia Eagles.
Brady had one of the most prolific seasons in NFL history, totaling 5,316 passing yards and 43 touchdowns while leading the Bucs to the No. 1 passing offense in the league.
The Patriots…likely just allowed the Bills to score on them again. Their season is over.
