Sports memorabilia has never been more popular, and perhaps no player’s items have been fetching larger price tags than the GOAT, Tom Brady.
One year ago, an autographed Tom Brady rookie card sold for a whopping $2.25-million, which set a new record for the highest selling football card of all time. And this past season, some estimated that Brady’s 600th touchdown ball (which Brady had to buy back after Mike Evans gave it away) could be worth up to $750-million.
And then there’s Brady’s first ever touchdown ball, which sold on at an auction last year for $428,841.
If you were wondering which is worth more between Brady’s first touchdown ball and his last touchdown ball, we have your answer.
Brady’s final touchdown, which he tossed to Mike Evans during the team’s Divisional Round loss to the Los Angeles Rams, was retrieved by a fan after the Bucs wide receiver tossed it into the stands — obviously not realizing that would be Brady’s final touchdown ball at the time.
Reports indicated that the ball had been located a month ago and was headed to auction. And on Saturday, the auction came to an end, with the winning bid coming in at a whopping $518,000, according to the auction site Lelands.

The starting bid for the ball was set at $100,000, with many believing that it would reach as high as $1-million. Obviously it didn’t make it even close to that amount, but a half-a-million dollars for a ball that someone caught in the stands during the game is still a pretty nice return, if you ask me.
