Tom Brady did not perform to his usual high standards in week one as he completed 18 of 27 passes for just 212 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. However, that was enough to get the win as the Buccaneers defense held the Cowboys to just one field goal in the 19-3 victory on Sunday night.
During the most recent episode of his “Let’s Go” podcast, Brady revealed just how banged up and bruised he was after the game, despite only being sacked twice in the entire game — both times by Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons.
The G.O.A.T. turned 45 years old last month and clearly his body is not able to heal up the way it used to. Fans were quick to react to this quote and fire some shots at the Buccaneers quarterback.

Things will not get any easier for Brady and the Bucs, as they will head to New Orleans to take on the Saints in week two. Since joining Tampa Bay in 2020, Brady is 0-4, with eight interceptions and has been sacked 13 times in the regular season against New Orleans.
Looks like TB12 and his Buccaneers offense could be in for a long afternoon this upcoming Sunday — although, the Saints are coming off a game in which they gave up 26 points to the lowly Atlanta Falcons.
It’ll be interesting to see what unfolds inside the Caesars Superdome on Sunday. Will the GOAT overcome his daemons (and his aches and pains) and get his first regular season win against the Saints as a member of the Bucs? Or will Jameis Winston prevail against his former team who took him first overall in the 2015 Draft? We can’t wait to watch and find out!
