Tom Brady is getting a lot of love after officially announcing on Tuesday that he’s retiring from the National Football League after 22 years. The 44-year-old legendary quarterback’s many celebrity friends and fans have weighed in, and that even includes his ex, actress Bridget Moynahan.
Moynahan, who shares her 14-year-old son, Jack, with Brady, took to Instagram to share some kind words.
“So proud of @tombrady,” she wrote. “Yesterday and today and I know you will do great things tomorrow. Looking forward to the next steps.”
Brady and Moynihan spent three years together from 2004-2006. They would split and Brady went on to date and marry supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
Brady, who led the Bucs to a Super Bowl title last season and NFC South championship this season, has been adamant for weeks that he never wanted a “farewell season.”
