Earlier this year, Tom Brady made the big announcement by way of changing his Twitter picture from him looking relaxed while leaning against a wall … to him shooting lasers out of his eyes.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion hoped it would help with Bitcoin, but its price had fallen nearly 40% to $34,665 from $56,245 on the day Brady changed his avatar.
“Alright the laser eyes didn’t work. Anyone have any ideas?” Brady said in a twitter post.
The eyes are certainly working now because on Wednesday, the world’s largest cryptocurrency’s price has now fully recovered from a near 50% correction earlier this year. Bitcoin’s price made a fresh all-time high above $66,000 and just may cointinue in that direction.
To celebrate the feat, the Tampa Bay Bucs QB took to Twitter and threw a crypto football to the moon.

Some investors are now predicting even bigger gains for bitcoin.
“Given the price momentum we are seeing on the back of bitcoin’s ETF, we believe that bitcoin can easily go all the way to [$100,000] by the end of this year,” Naeem Aslam, chief market analyst with AvaTrade, said in a report Wednesday.
