Tom Brady has been in the news quite a bit over the past month, although we haven’t really heard from him ever since he made headlines for tossing the Lombardi Trophy from one boat to another during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Super Bowl parade.
We have heard from the daughter of the trophy’s designer, who was not the slightest bit happy about what she saw:
Many others have wondered what the seven-time Super Bowl champ was thinking when he put the league’s most coveted trophy at risk along the Hillsborough River.
Here’s what TB12 had to say about the incident during last night’s appearance on “The Late Late Show With James Corden”:
“First of all, I was not thinking at that moment. It was not a thought. It was, ‘This seems really fun to do.’ Not to mention, when you get your hands on one of those trophies, there’s a lot of really sharp edges on the bottom. … And then I found out later, had that been an incomplete pass, that would have went down like 80 feet. So, I’m so happy that Cam [Brate caught it].”

Brady also addressed his daughter’s reaction to the toss, which went viral at the time.
Here’s how Brady described his daughter’s reaction:
“That’s my little 8-year-old daughter. Who could imagine that an 8-year-old girl would have the most sense of anybody in that whole area? I mean, she’s the voice of reason. Go figure.”
