Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has been heavily ripped by social media for practicing throws while teammate Cameron Brate was down in a scary scene.
Brate had to be stretchered off after taking a hit to the head in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Per ESPN’s Jenna Laine, head coach Todd Bowles revealed that Brate has a neck injury, but he would be flying back with the team in the evening.
While plenty of Buccaneers players were gathered around Brate as he was being placed on a stretcher, a fan shared a video of Brady practicing his throws away from the scene.
Needless to say, plenty of fans voiced their discontent with Brady on Twitter.

Brate suffered a concussion two weeks ago in the Bucs’ Week 4 home game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He missed last week’s game against the Atlanta Falcons but received clearance to return for Week 6.
The 31-year-old Brate had two receptions for 14 yards in Sunday’s outing. For the season, the veteran tight end has 11 catches for 100 yards.
It was a frustrating day all-around for Brady and the Buccaneers. They were heavy favorites to beat a Pittsburgh team that a) had lost four in a row and b) was playing without several key starters on defense, including superstars T.J. Watt and Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Pittsburgh lost starting quarterback Kenny Pickett for the game in the third quarter after he suffered a concussion. Mitch Trubisky, who was benched in favor of Pickett during Pittsburgh’s Week 4 home game, finished strong in relief (nine completions for 144 yards and one touchdown).
Since starting 2-0, the Buccaneers have dropped three of their last four games. They’ll attempt to get back above .500 when they visit the slumping Carolina Panthers next Sunday.
