Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady had yet another hilarious response to a player’s specific autograph request for an intercepted football.
You may recall that after the Bucs’ Week 14 road loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Brady was kind enough to sign a football for Dre Greenlaw, who intercepted the seven-time Super Bowl Champion during the game.
As it turns out, one of Brady’s current and longtime teammates also recently asked him to sign a football he threw that wound up getting intercepted. That would be Bucs cornerback Logan Ryan, who memorably intercepted Brady’s final pass as a New England Patriot in the 2019 AFC Wild Card Round.
Ryan and Brady were teammates in New England from 2013 to 2016, winning two Super Bowl championships together. Ryan joined the Titans in 2017 and helped them make a surprise trip to the 2019 AFC Championship Game, where they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Ryan and the future Hall of Famer reunited in Tampa Bay this offseason when the former signed a deal with the Buccaneers. Though the regular season was full of inconsistent play, Tampa managed to win the NFC South with a record of 8-9. They’ll host the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round on Monday night.
