Tom Brady is no longer expected to retire after the current NFL season comes to a close. It’s believed that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is considering sticking around because of his failed marriage.
The possibility of him remaining in Tampa Bay is also thought to be slim, with the San Francisco 49ers rumored to be one of the likelier landing spots for the 45-year-old.
Brady had to deal with both losing to San Francisco and fielding questions over a potential move there on Sunday. This time around, though, he refused to answer.
“I think I already answered that a few weeks ago. Next question,” he said, per ProFootballTalk.
That clearly wasn’t good enough for the press. The San Francisco Chronicle’s Michael Silver would repeat the same question to Brady in another interview.
“I don’t go there,” the QB insisted. “I’m just trying to get this right, and see what we can possibly accomplish. We’ve got four games to figure this out, and we’ve got a lot of work to do.”

Brady simply isn’t prepared to give any clues about his future, which should be expected. He hasn’t exactly been an open book, especially when it comes to his plans. However, he did speak very highly of San Francisco ahead of yesterday’s loss.
The New England Patriots are being tipped as another favorite to get Brady, who spent the first 19 years of his career playing for them. Brady helped the Patriots win six Super Bowls. He won another one in his first year at Tampa Bay.
We will all just have to wait and see whether Brady decides to remain with the Bucs or join another team. The only thing that seems certain at the moment is Brady being an NFL player next season.
