For what seems like the 6th-straight year, there has been many people to throw out the notion that Tom Brady is slowing down and needs to finally hang it up and call it career.
This past weekend, the New England Patriots quarterback went out against the Los Angeles Chargers and threw for over 300 yards and is now headed to his 8-straight AFC Championship game. The last time the Patriots lost in the playoffs prior to the AFC Championship was in 2010 against the Jets in the Divisional Round.
Along the way, Brady has heard all of the naysayers this year about him needing to hang up his cleats and his run being over.
On Monday after the divisional win, Brady took to Instagram and pumped up his fan base while throwing a subtle shot at his critics.
He captioned the photo, “945 am this morning – Today was the only one that mattered. Thank you Pats Nation/Foxboro for a fun 2018 season at home! We are on to K.C. #LFG P.s. Still here”
Brady and the Patriots will now travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs in one of the biggest AFC Championship games in recent memory.
