For as long as NFL fans can remember, Tom Brady has been going by the name of “TB-12.” Apparently, he believes that nickname as well as another one should be with him for years to come.
The six-time Super Bowl Champion just recently filed two new trademarks for the nickname “TOM TERRIFIC” for his company, TEB Capital Management Inc. This was done in order to have “Tom Terrific” for use on trading cards, posters and apparel.
That seems all well and good, but social media users were quick to point out that the name ‘Tom Terrific’ has always been synonymous with Tom Seaver, the former MLB pitcher who played from 1967 to 1986. He played a key role in the New York Mets victory in the 1969 World Series.

The three-time MVP can most certainly do what he wants with the nickname, just don’t expect fans of Major League Baseball to jump on board with this.
