Momentum is the name of the game, and the Tampa bay Bucs could’ve seriously used this touchdown. Nothing is going right for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offense – even their best players.
Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady dropped back in the opening minutes against the Panthers and heaved a pass for star receiver Mike Evans, who was by himself for an easy touchdown.
Evans practically had a touchdown in his hands…until it slipped away.
After the game, Evans put the blame on himself over that dropped pass.
The Bucs had to settle for a punt on their opening drive and the game remained scoreless until the Panthers scored a touchdown with 29 seconds left in the first half.

Evans has 30 receiving touchdowns since Brady arrived in Tampa Bay, unfortunately, he couldn’t bring down number 31.
Despite Evans blaming himself, his QB came to his defense.
“It was one play,” he said via Bucs writer Scott Smith. “There were a lot more plays in the game.”
The Panthers entered the game as a 13.5-point underdog and ended up winning 21-3.
Brady has never been .500 after eight games of the season and things are not getting any better as they face off against the Ravens on Thursday.
