When Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took the field Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys to kick off their 2022 regular season, they did so without the services of Rob Gronkowski.
However, Gronk is still making his presence felt, taking part in Brady’s new video segment on the Bucs’ official website, “Armchair QB.”
In the below video, Gronk asked his old quarterback what and where his next tattoo should be, which prompted Brady to give him a recommendation as well as hint that his answer might inspire his buddy to come out of retirement yet again:
For only the second time in 12 seasons, Tom Brady won’t have his trusted tight end on the field with him. Gronkowski retired in 2019, sitting out the entire season, and retired again this offseason.
Gronkowski’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, repeatedly has said he won’t be surprised if the tight end returns at some point this season.
