Even Tom Brady knew this reporter wasn’t thinking clearly when asking him about something that had nothing to do with his team losing a game.
Following a tough loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick faced an odd question from a reporter who thought it would be a good idea to ask if he had any New Year’s resolutions for 2022. Belichick didn’t have much to say, responding “Not right now. Maybe next week.”
Tom Brady gave his take on the brave reporter even thinking about asking that question.
“I want to be as brave and courageous as she was, asking that question to Coach Belichick after a loss,” Brady said. “That’s what I want for the New Year.”
Brady and Belichick spent 20 years together in New England and produced six Super Bowls and nine AFC Championships.
One year apart and Brady won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Bucs and the Patriots had their first losing season in a long time without him behind center.
