Tom Brady knows how to fire up his fan base.
The New England Patriots are honoring the legendary career of quarterback Tom Brady with a ceremony during the halftime of the team’s home game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It started out pretty bad as mistakes saw them down 16-0, but they have since made a game of it.
The ceremony is being held at the 10-yard line on the north end of the stadium.
That was perfect for Tom Brady, because he would remove his jacket on the field to show off his jersey, and just as he did before every game, he would sprint toward the end zone while Jay-Z was playing.
While Brady, who retired from the NFL for the second time in February, played his final seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he became known as the Greatest of All Time during his time in New England.
If he truly is done, he leaves as the NFL’s career leader in yards passing (89,214) and touchdowns (649). He’s the only player to win more than five Super Bowls and has been MVP of the game five times.

His improbable career is unlikely to be recreated.
