Byron Kennedy could be the happiest man in the entire country if he had simply taken the ball he was given by Mike Evans and ran out of the stadium without speaking to anyone.
Tom Brady threw his 600th career touchdown pass while leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 38-3 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, but Mike Evans did not realize how important it was as he picked out a fan and gave it to him.
Kennedy was that fan, and the Buccaneers had to do some negotiating to get it back:
According to Darren Rovell of The Action Network, the fan will be receiving:
- Two signed Tom Brady jerseys
- A signed Tom Brady helmet,
- A signed Mike Evans jersey,
- Mike Evans’ cleats from the game,
- A $1,000 Bucs team store credit,
- Two season tickets for the remainders of the 2021 season
- Two season tickets for the 2022 season

Given that the souvenir had an estimated value of around %750K, Tom Brady took to social media and offered up a cryptocurrency solution that could work out for him in the future.
Kennedy discussed the situation during an interview with Ryan Bass of 10 Tampa Bay and said he never had any thoughts of selling the ball.
At this point, Kennedy would love nothing but to put this situation behind him.
***UPDATE… Tom Brady just said on the Manning Cast on Monday Night Football that he’s giving the Bucs fan who had the 600TD ball a bitcoin.
Well done Brady, now hopefully this fan doesn’t rush to sell this coin.
