“What’s there to be happy about? Job’s not finished. Job finished? I don’t think so.” Those were the famous were uttered from Kobe Bryant after the Lakers to a 2-0 series lead in the NBA Finals.
Tom Brady clearly lives by those words.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David relayed a hilarious story about the QB after punching a ticket to the Super Bowl last week. David appeared on the All Things Covered Podcast and stated how Brady’s legendary competitiveness wouldn’t allow one teammate to truly enjoy the moment.
“After we won the NFC Championship, you know, I’m all happy,” David said. “This is my first I’m geeked up. Then I guess somebody was crying and I guess I heard him. He’s like, ‘What the (expletive) you crying for? We’re not done yet.”
“I’m like, ‘He’s right’ You know, I had a little two tears, too, so I wiped my (expletive),” David said.
It is Super Bowl or bust for a man like Tom Brady.
