During Capital One’s The Match press conference on Tuesday, Tom Brady couldn’t help but to take a jab at the Green Bay Packers.
Brady and Rodgers will be facing off against each ther when they battle it out at Capital One’s The Match. Brady will be paired up with Phil Mickelson while Rodgers will play with Bryson DeChambeau.
It will be the first time since they dueled it out in the 2021 NFC Championship Game. Brady got the best of Rodgers in a 31-26 shootout. The Buccaneers quarterback couldn’t help but remind Rodgers how that game played out when he poked fun at the Packers’ decision to kick a field goal, rather than try and score a touchdown, on a fourth-down play in the fourth quarter.
“I do think you have a partner who would probably like to go for it a little bit more than he has in the past, so Bryson, I’m glad you’re encouraging him to go for it,” Brady said.
“Well usually I don’t have the option,” Rodgers responded.
