Tom Brady is the GOAT. Seven Super Bowls and three MVP awards later, there’s little doubting that fact.
Brady isn’t the most talented quarterback we’ve ever seen. What’s helped set the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback a step above the rest is his championship swagger, his unlimited confidence, and his incredible work ethic — three traits that TB12 has apparently possessed since his high school days.
We recently were given a little insight into the mind of Tom Brady during his high school days, thanks to some footage that has resurfaced on Twitter showing the five-time Super Bowl MVP during his high school days, talking about they strengths and weaknesses to his game.
In the interview, which was meant to showcase the then-Serra High School star, former NFL star quarterback Dan Fouts sits down and asks the young Brady to describe his game like he would to a college quarterback who’s never seen him play. Brady goes on to list his arm strength, accuracy and work ethic as strengths, while his speed was obviously his weakness.
Unfortunately for Brady, that speed never did end up coming with time. Thankfully, he never ended up needing it.
It’s pretty crazy to see just how similar teenage Tom Brady looks and sounds compared to 44-year-old Tom Brady. It’s as if he hit puberty at 16 and hasn’t aged a day ever since.
