Ja’Marr Chase, the former LSU receiver who just had an outstanding rookie year for the Cincinnati Bengals, has already appeared in 1 Super Bowl, losing to the Los Angeles Rams.
That disappointment is now followed up with the Madden video game disrespecting him.
Ahead of the 2022 season, Chase felt like he was snubbed by the Madden NFL 23 rankings by not being named a top 10 wide receiver.
The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver caught 81 passes for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns in the regular season, and then 25 passes for 368 yards and one touchdown in four postseason games as the Bengals made it all the way to Super Bowl LVI. However, the upcoming “Madden 23” video game had him tied for the 18th-highest Madden rating among receivers with an 87.
Although disappointing, Tom Brady had the best reaction to it.
Brady pointed out he wasn’t even included in the Madden game his second year as a pro:
“Don’t sweat it, man. Madden didn’t even put me in the game my second year,” Brady tweeted.
