But 2022 has turned into anything but a fairytale for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback. From the retirement flip-flop, to the struggles on the field for himself and his team, to the finalization of his divorce from Gisele Bundchen (which just took place today), there’s been no shortage of struggles for Brady this year.
Going through all of that at once can be tough, even for someone in Brady’s situation. The dude could probably use some comfort and support right about now…
But he shouldn’t expect to get it on Twitter.
We all know that social media can be ruthless at times, and this time is no different. Following the announcement of his divorce earlier today, the Twitterverse quickly piled on top of Tom, taking advantage of a rare opportunity to troll the seven-time Super Bowl champ.

Brady and Gisele began dating back in 2006, and they tied the knot in February 2009. They have two children together, and Brady also has another child with his previous girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan.
Some believe that Brady’s issues off the field have spilled over into his performance on the gridiron, as he has looked like a shell of his former self during his Bucs’ 3-5 start to the season.
It’s reasonable for people to wonder whether Brady regrets putting his marriage at risk just to return for what could very well be the worst season of his football career.
