The NFL is delivering their version of a ‘slap on the wrist’ to Tom Brady.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the league has notified the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach that they will be fining him for his actions during Sunday’s 21-15 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
More specifically, Brady is being find after footage revealed that he had kicked Falcons DL Grady Jarrett on two separate occasions during the game.
One of the kicks took place after Brady was taken down following a pass attempt on the first series, while the other took place later on in the game, after a Grady Jarrett sack. According to Schefter’s report, Brady is really only being fined for the kick following the sack, but it wouldn’t surprise me to hear that both incidents played a part in their decision.
Neither kick was penalized during the game, as they went largely unnoticed by most. But some social media detectives notices Brady’s foul play, and apparently word spread far enough on Twitter to reach the NFL’s front offices.

We’ll see if Brady can keep his feet to himself in that one.
