Tom Brady did not seem the least bit impressed when a journo read out some of Jalen Hurts’ stats to him this week.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner was responding to reporters during a presser ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ clash with the Carolina Panthers on Sunday when Hurts was brought up. Brady said “wow” a few times, as if to say “I don’t really care,” following that up with “sick data.”
Hurts was having a tremendous season before hurting his shoulder during a win against the Chicago Bears in Week 16. He missed the NFC showdown against the Dallas Cowboys last week but has returned to practice, though Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni stopped short of revealing whether he will start against the New Orleans Saints this Sunday.
We could see why Brady would fail to be impressed by another QB’s sick data. He’s Tom Brady, after all. But, as the reporter pointed out, Hurts has surpassed him in a certain area.
Brady did have some good stuff to say about the way Hurts has been playing this season, however.
