The relationship between Tom Brady and Mike Vrabel is so unique that both of them can insult each other and the other one would not be mad.
If you needed an example of this, the latest clip from the Buccaneers’ behind-the-scenes show made it as clear as possible. The show, “In The Current,” documented the Buccaneers’ joint practice with the Tennessee Titans.
Brady sat down for an interview for the show…basically to just throw shots at Vrabel
“Mike’s kind of [expletive] hole if you get to know him,” a deadpan Brady said. “I mean, he went to Ohio State. You know, obviously I don’t like him.”
He then took a shot at the 46-year-old Vrabel’s physique.
“There’s a healthy competition between us always, even though he’s kind of fat and out of shape now,” Brady said. “You know, physically he’s really declined to a pretty sad state.”

Vrabel got in a jab of his own.
“It’s good to see another defense carry Brady to a Super Bowl,” Vrabel said.
Brady might still be salty that Vrabel ended his career with the Patriots after beating New England in the wild card round in 2019. That proved to be Brady’s final game as he moved on to the Tampa Bay Bucs and promptly won the Super Bowl.
