What will Tom Brady do for the upcoming season? Will he play or will he head off into retirement? Whatever it is, he does not want you asking him about it.
In his weekly “Let’s Go!” podcast, Brady was asked by host Jim Gray about his plans for 2023. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback did not mince a single word as he responde rather bluntly.
“If I knew what I was going to f—ing do I would’ve already f—ing done it. I’m taking it a day at a time,” Brady said, via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
Rob Gronkowski doesn’t think his former teammate is going to throw in the towel on his storied NFL career just yet. When appearing on Fox’s NFL pregame show over the weekend, Gronk was asked about the quarterback’s future plans following the 2022 season.
“Everyone wants to know about Tom Brady’s future, and I don’t even think Tom knows what his future holds right now. But let me tell you this, he was top-five in passing yards last season, he can still play the game,” Gronkowski said of the 45-year-old Brady, who will soon become a free agent.

“If for some reason he’s not going to be, he always has an opportunity, a job with us next year,” Gronkowski said of Brady’s reported deal with Fox Sports.
Last season was rough for Brady as the Bucs finished the year with a record below .500 and they got ousted of the Wild Card round by the Dallas Cowboys. Brady also saw the demise of his 13-year marriage to wife Gisele Bündchen, with the pair finalizing their divorce in October.
With free agency approaching, speculation is beginning to mount as to where Brady could possibly play as many reports have Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers in the mix for his services.
