In his first extensive interview since leaving the New England Patriots for the Tampa Bay Bucs — Tom Brady sat down with Howard Stern on Wednesday and shed more light into why he left the Patriots.
Brady admitted to Stern that he knew before the start of last season it was going to be his last with the Patriots. “I don’t think there was a final, final decision until it happened, but I would say I probably knew before the start of last season that it was my last year. I knew our time was coming to an end,” he explained.
In typical Stern fashion, he just had to throw a curveball in the interview when he asked about the shower room situation for NFL teams, and Brady provided an interesting insight. “Why are we doing this?” he asked of open showers in the locker room. “You get used to it. Every guy’s penis looks the exact same. A man’s a man,” he added.

The newly-minted Tampa Bay Bucs QB admitted he had no hard feelings against Bill Belichick, stating he spoke with him by phone on the night when he drove to Robert Kraft’s house to deliver the news he would be leaving.
He admitted there were lots of tears.
Now, the 42-year-old is headed for a new challenge and in a new city. Brady and Belichick will now attempt to win a Super Bowl for the first time without each other.
