Tom Brady reportedly wants one of his coaches to leave Tampa Bay.
Brady is having a difficult third season with the Buccaneers and is coming off one of the worst defeats of his career, with the San Francisco 49ers blowing them out 35-7 on Sunday. The 45-year-old quarterback won a Super Bowl with the Bucs at the first time of asking and is intent on winning another, which would leave him an eight-time champion.
Of course, there’s still an opportunity to win one at the end of the current season, yet the likelihood grows slimmer with each loss. Tampa Bay is now 30/1 to win Super Bowl LVII, behind the Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, the 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, and Minnesota Vikings.
Tom Brady Is Said To Want More Control In Tampa Bay
There are many theories out there as to why Brady and the Bucs have struggled so much this season.
Former NFL quarterback Brady Quinn has made claims of both Brady and the team wanting the QB to have more control over the offense and, as a result, were hoping offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich could have landed a head coaching job elsewhere.
Leftwich is believed to be on the verge of becoming the top man for another team, but Quinn has said that Brady and co. wish he was already gone.

“From what I’ve heard, they were hoping maybe Byron Leftwich would get a head coaching job so Brady could have more control over things as far as playcalling goes,” he said, per Sportsnaut.com. “He hasn’t been overly impressed with that. So maybe that’s part of it; there’s some frustration there [with Leftwich playcalling].”
Recent reports claim Brady has been going rogue with the offense this season, doing his own thing during game-planning sessions prior to kickoff. If that is indeed the case, Quinn could have the truth of it.
