Tom Brady hasn’t been shy in voicing his frustrations with the current NFL product and its officiating since retiring, and he was at it again on Sunday.
In a controversial ruling, the NFL fined New York Jets running back Breece Hall for “lowering and leading with his head” while carrying the football against the Atlanta Falcons last week. Hall was given a hefty $43,709 fine for hitting Falcons corner A.J. Terrell, who suffered a concussion on the play.
Former NFL star defensive end J.J. Watt blasted the NFL for fining Hall on what he called a “routine football play.”
Sports Illustrated posted Watt’s post on their Instagram page. In the comments section (screenshot below), Brady wrote, “We need to fix this!”
Terrell fortunately avoided a long-term injury and was cleared to return in time for the Falcons’ pivotal Week 14 home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
