Tom Brady came into Sunday night’s game against his former team needing just 68 yards to pass Drew Brees for the most regular season passing yards all time by an NFL quarterback.
Brady wasted no time in completing that task in the very first quarter.
When he took the field of Gillette Stadium on Sunday, this time wearing a Buccaneers’ uniform, he was cheered by his former fan base. When he broke that record, he was cheered even more.
This passing record is just the latest in a long list of records owned by the future Hall of Fame quarterback, who also lays claim to the most Super Bowl rings, most touchdown passes and most wins of any quarteback in NFL history.
Hate him or love him, he is the best to ever play the QB position.
