Tom Brady has the chance to do the funniest thing ever.
New York Jets fans barely had time to show up to the MetLife Stadium on Monday night before the team’s new star quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, went down with an ankle injury that seems to be a ruptured Achilles that would end his season. The 39-year-old went down after being sacked by the Bills’ Leonard Floyd on his fourth snap, approximately three minutes and 45 seconds into the game.
He was treated on the field and then helped to the sidelines by Jets trainers and medical staff. Zach Wilson replaced Rodgers as quarterback, and although the team won the game, they know he is not the answer at quarterback for what they had planned for the season.
It has now been revealed that Rodgers is out for the year, so some around the league are speculating about who’ll replace the four-time MVP. Although it’s unlikely, a ton of people would like to see the Jets call up Tom Brady.
It just so happens that Brady would post a video of himself playing basketball on social media.
Fans couldn’t care less about his basketball skills, and wanted him to play for the Jets.

Tom Brady, who retired back in February, was adamant his second retirement is a permanent one, but this may be an opportunity to scratch one last itch he may have.
TB12 taking his talents to the Meadowlands probably is a pipe dream, but that call needs to be made.
After the Jets’ overtime win over the Buffalo Bills, head coach Robert Saleh acknowledged Wilson would be “the guy” for New York if Rodgers can’t play.
