Tom Brady is just weeks into his retirement, but TB12 is already getting back in the game, all thanks to Hollywood.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion is headed to the big screen as he will produce and appear in the new movie “80 for Brady,” which is led by Academy Award-nominee Lily Tomlin, Academy Award-winner Jane Fonda, Academy Award-winner Rita Moreno and Academy Award-winner Sally Field.
Per the description over at THR, 80 For Brady is inspired by a true story, and “tells of four best friends and New England Patriots fans who take a life-changing trip to the 2017 Super Bowl LI to see their quarterback hero, Tom Brady, play and the chaos that ensues as they navigate the wilds of the biggest sporting event in the country.”
Brady does have some acting experience, as he appeared in the series Entourage, Living With Yourself and The Simpsons.
The road trip comedy will be directed by Kyle Marvin, who co-wrote the script with Michael Covino.
Production will begin later this spring and no release date has been set yet.
