Despite the rumors on social media, Tom Brady was not a contestant on the TV show The Masked Singer while away from Buccaneers training camp.
There was a wild rumor floating around last week that Brady was away because he was filming for FOX’s “The Masked Singer.” Unfortunately for everybody, the rumor was not true.
Brady somewhat addressed the rumor on Twitter.
“Wasn’t on the masked singer last week. Was wearing a mask though,” he wrote while sharing a tweet from his official underwear line featuring a shirtless man in boxer briefs doing motorcycle stunts.
Brady quote-tweeted his underwear brand’s Twitter account when it posted a video of a man popping wheelies on a motorcycle wearing nothing but underwear, a helmet, and gloves.
Head coach Todd Bowles told reporters Brady was expected to miss multiple days of training camp for a personal matter that was never disclosed, so people’s imaginations began to run wild.

It was later revealed he was imply spending quality time with his family in the Bahamas.
