Tom Brady was not in action on Wednesday yet still managed to make NFL history.
When you’ve been around for as long as Brady has, played as well as he has, and has much success as he’s had, you’re going to break multiple records. However, most of the feats and milestones would be expected to occur during games.
As mentioned above, Brady didn’t play on Wednesday – no one did – but he has registered what might go down as one of his most impressive accomplishments. It would have probably been the most impressive yet, had there not been seven rings to count.
Brady has been in the league for 23 seasons, which is remarkable in itself. But on Wednesday, he did something no one else has done since George Blanda.

This is pretty wild, especially when you consider that Tom Brady has been in the NFL for longer than nearly a third of the world’s population has been alive.
Brady is the oldest player in the league but that could be about to change as Terrell Owens, who turned 49 earlier this month, could make a shocking return to the NFL. Owens will be the oldest player to lace them up in the NFL should he join a team for the playoffs. Blanda has held that record for decades, having retired at the age of 48 in 1976, but it appears Owens is gearing up to snatch the record up for himself.
