I mean, can you really blame him?
Winning a Super Bowl, breaking records, and possibly getting into the Hall of Fame is pretty cool, but having billions behind your name is sooooooo much better.
That’s exactly what Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley was thinking when he took to Twitter and asked this question about MacKenzie Bezos:
If you haven’t heard, Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos announced that he and his wife, novelist MacKenzie Bezos, are divorcing. Here’s his statement.
“As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends. We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other and deeply grateful for every one of the years we have been married to each other. If we had known we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all over again.”
Jeff Bezos’ net worth is currently $136.8 billion and he currently owns 16% of Amazon.

This could wind up being the most expensive divorce in human history.
If Jeff and MacKenzie Bezos split their fortune equally, it could leave MacKenzie with $69 billion, making her the world’s richest woman.
I don’t blame Gurley at all.
