The NFL’s worst nightmare is coming true.
On Tuesday, it was reported that the Tennessee Titans had “three new player positives and five new personnel positives for COVID-19.” As a result, both the Titans and the Vikings (who played the Titans on Sunday) are suspending in-person club activities.
The Titans released a statement on Tuesday, saying, “Out of the abundance of caution, the organization has decided to work remotely today as we follow NFL protocols related to the Covid-19 virus. Several tests have come back positive and are working through the process of confirming them. We will have more information tomorrow.”
Per NFL guidelines, players and staff members who tested positive are required to quarantine. Those in contact with players and personnel who tested positive will need to test negative before they can participate in any club activities.

The Titans host the Steelers on Sunday, while the Vikings travel to Houston to play the Texans.
No decision has been made on the state of those games, but a larger outbreak would most certainly postpone them to stop an even bigger outbreak.
The Houston Texans were said to have false positives before their game against the Steelers, but all retests came back negative just before kickoff.
