Here’s something you don’t see every day.
NFL fans are used to seeing Derrick Henry light up opposing defenders with his violent style of running. But on Sunday, King Henry was dealt a taste of his own medicine when he was de-cleated by New York Giants linebacker Tae Crowder.
During a second-quarter run up the middle, Henry thought he spotted some daylight when suddenly, out of nowhere, Crowder came in and laid him out.
Henry getting leveled was just one of the unexpected things to happen in Tennessee on Sunday afternoon, as the Titans blew a 13-point lead and missed a game-winning 47-yard field-goal attempt in a 21-20 loss to the underdog G-Men.
After seeing Henry get knocked off his feet by Crowder, Twitter was quick to comment on how rare and unlikely that feat really is:

Derrick Henry finished the afternoon with 82 yards on 21 carries. It was his first regular season game since he suffered a Jones fracture in his foot during 2021.
As for Crowder, he led the Giants with seven total tackles on the day. His G-Men will take on the Panthers at home next week, while the Titans look to get back on their feet when the visit Buffalo in week two.
