There could be a scramble to get as high on the board as possible ahead of draft day where NFL teams are concerned.
The Carolina Panthers have already traded to get the No. 1 overall pick for 2023 and are likely to use it on a franchise quarterback. But the Tennessee Titans could be keen on doing the same thing as they’re interested in trading for the No. 3 overall pick, according to the NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah.
The Arizona Cardinals hold said pick and won’t be in the market for a QB because they have Kyler Murray locked up for the next five years, so they could be inclined to trade the pick for the right price.
As things stand, the Titans will be on the board at No. 11 and will have one pick in each of the following rounds, save the fourth.
Rather interestingly, the Las Vegas Raiders are also reported as having an interest in trading for the No. 3 pick. The team only just signed Jimmy Garoppolo to a three-year deal and he is expected to be their starting QB. However, it’s now thought that the team is keen on leapfrogging the Indianapolis Colts.
“Again, this is just people around the league who said do not sleep on Numero 11. The Tennessee Titans. The two teams to keep an eye on with the trade-ups were the Raiders and the Titans,” Jeremiah said on his Move the Sticks podcast.

The Colts are understood to be gearing up to draft Will Levis at No. 4 but the Raiders are reported to have scheduled a visit for the signal-caller this Monday.
If the Raiders, who currently hold the seventh overall pick, really are keen on drafting another QB, he will likely have to play understudy to Jimmy G for at least one season. We imagine such a situation wouldn’t be the case in Tennessee.
