MyCole Pruitt’s season is certainly over after he suffered an severe right leg injury in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
Pruitt’s right ankle appeared to snap in half during a run by teammate D’Onta Foreman at Nissan Stadium during his Titans’ game against the Miami Dolphins. Pruitt went down in pain, slamming his fist on the turf several times as players from both teams called for immediate medical assistance.
Pruitt’s leg was placed in an air cast and he left the field on a cart. It’s another unfortunate loss for a Titans team that has had to deal with plenty of significant injuries this season.
Here’s a look at the play. It’s gruesome, so watch at your own discretion:
Renowned doctor, David J. Chao, took to Twitter immediately to point out that it appears as though Pruitt suffers a right ankle fracture dislocation, which is possibly “wide open.” It looks and sounds like a horrible injury for the 29-year-old tight end. Prayers up for a speedy recovery.
