The Tennessee Titans could be in play for Will Levis after the quarterback dropped out of the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Levis suffered the embarrassment of the night as he showed up looking pretty dapper, surrounded by his family, only to watch from the sidelines. It’s now understood that he will not be attending Friday’s second round, and who could blame him? Plus he probably only packed one suit.
According to NFL reporter Mike Giardi, the Titans are aggressively pursuing a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers that would see them move up to No. 32.
Earlier on Friday, it was reported that the Steelers had received calls from multiple teams seeking to trade for their second-round first pick. It appears the Titans have been the most insistent and it’s believed that Levis might be their target.
Tennessee currently owns the No. 41 pick and Levis is likely to be off the board by the time they’re ready to go.
The Kentucky quarterback was given a 0.1 chance of falling out of the first round by ESPN analytics, with most analysts tipping him to go top five. Levis moved up the betting ladder to become the favorite to go second overall on Wednesday but was put through a terrible situation as he went undrafted on Night 1 while ESPN kept putting him in the spotlight.
