Plenty of moves are expected around the NFL with the trade deadline quickly approaching.
The Tennessee Titans are among teams anticipating some deals ahead of the window closing as they’re keen on acquiring draft capital and are looking to move running back Derrick Henry.
However, The Athletic’s Dianna Russini is reporting that she’s heard nothing to suggest that there’s any interest in trading for the two-time NFL rushing yards leader and three-time Pro Bowler.
Russini, who recently moved to The Athletic from ESPN, reports that the team has gotten calls about safety Kevin Byard and wide receiver Treylon Burks, though they are unlikely to move any young player this season, yet Henry hasn’t attracted any suitors.
“The Tennessee Titans need draft capital and have been getting calls from general managers over the last few days,” she wrote.
“Though I haven’t found a team showing significant interest in Derrick Henry, sources around the league tell me Tennessee has received calls about safety Kevin Byard, and one team reached out about wide receiver Treylon Burks. I don’t get a sense Tennessee will move any young player.”

The Titans reportedly want to send Henry to a contender so he can end his career on a high note. But it appears there isn’t much of a market for his services right now, though things could change based on the way Week 7 goes.
