Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown is not expected to participate in the on-field offseason program because he’s seeking a new contract, according to a report Monday from ESPN.
You would think that would be the worst thing going right now, but then Brown would take to Twitter and make things even worse with what he had to say.
“I’m a diva and a bad teammate all of sudden, lol ok. Do what you have to do then and so will I”
Hours later, he would soon remove the ‘Tennessee’ from his Twitter bio as well.

Brown is making it known that he wants a new contract after the receiver market was completely flipped on its head earlier this offseason.
Davante Adams signed a five-year, $141.25 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, and Christian Kirk signed a four-year, $72 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Not to mention what Tyreek Hill got when he got traded from the Chiefs to the Dolphins.
The 24-year-old is eligible for an extension this offseason. He’s set to make $3.896 million in base salary in 2022, the last year of his rookie deal. The Titans don’t have a fifth-year option on Brown, seeing that he wasn’t a first-round selection.
The 2019 second-round pick, had 63 receptions for 869 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games last season. The 2020 Pro Bowler had at least 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first two seasons.
